Guerra Mondiale alle scan dei manga

Mai verbo essere col tempo imperfetto fu più azzeccato... datemi una dose di 10cc di adrenalina...
Leggo questo topic e dico, nah che vuoi che sia. Ma per la schiena sento scorrere un brivido gelido. Vado su onemanga e:
Purtroppo è un duro colpo, appena lessi il primo post di questo thread corsi subito su onemanga e lì lessi quel fatal messaggio
Anch'io usavo One Manga, comunque esistono almeno altri 2 siti che danno le scan anche un giorno prima di One Manga.
Comunque per tutto il bene che ha fatto One Manga, un bel Amen.
PS anch'io leggo le scan e poi compro i fumetti, volete mettere il bello di avere un fumetto reale tra le mani e non vederlo solo su uno schermo PC?

Si ma....non vi rovinate la sorpresa di sfogliare un fumetto di carta scoprendo cosa succede piuttosto che con il click di un mouse? Se tu ad esempio sei certo di leggere one piece, non è molto più gradevole vederlo sullo scaffale della fumetteria, comprarlo, andare a casa, mettersi sul cesso o boh cosa ne so io, e leggerlo senza sapere cosa succede?
Jed, il piacere di leggere un manga sulla carta non si discute, ma il punto non è quello. È innanzitutto la curiosità di sapere il prima possibile come andrà avanti la storia, se le scan hanno successo non è di certo perchè fa risparmiare i soldi dei volumi (c'è anche questo vantaggio si, ma non penso sia la motivazione principale). E seconda cosa, ci sono le scan di tantissimi manga che sono confinati al solo territorio giapponese, quindi ogni tanto ci scappava di seguire qualcosa di veramente interessante.

Ovvio che non ci sono paragoni: personalmente non riesco proprio a seguire i manga attraverso gli scans, ma riconosco che a volte è l'unico modo per poter leggere fumetti mai arrivati nel nostro Paese oppure quelli oramai introvabili
Ad esempio se non ci fosse stato Onemanga o comunque le scans online non avrei potuto godere appieno di 20th century boys, dato che i volumi 9 e 10 sono irreperibili: quando ho recuperato l'intera collezione ho colmato temporaneamente il vuoto leggendo i capitoli online e non ho dovuto per forza di cose interrompere la lettura in attesa che si decidano a ristamparli. Quando un giorno riporrò i suddetti volumi accanto ai loro "fratellini" sullo scaffale è ovvio che la mia soddisfazione sarà alle stelle
Capisco per quelli mai arrivati, infatti dovrebbe funzionare come per i sub: solo per prodotti non distribuiti. Se poi vengono acquistati i diritti, allora si toglie tutto. Questo funziona (fino a un certo punto) con i sub, che sanno darsi una regolato, non funziona affatto con le scan

eh già senza onemanga io non avrei mai potuto leggere i primi capitoli di 20th century boyse anche qualcuno di Pluto ( che ora adoro) e non avrei potuto leggere Gintama (che la Planeta ha deciso di sospendere per l'italia) o anche di HXH
eppure ci sono manga che non si trovano nemmeno online ;_;

The day has finally come! It has been a great run and we thank you all for your kind words and support. We couldn't answer all the email we got (because we got a ton!), but know that all of your messages were read and heartfelt. Some were especially touching, and we can be proud of the fact that OM made a difference in some people's lives. Better than 'peanut butter and jelly' indeed!!

Well since it's the end of our manga viewers days I'd like to take a little time just to thank everyone.
Ever since we started we've been getting great support from all you guys and you stuck with us though thick and thin, ups and downs, the good and bad. You all have been amazing and gave us the endless motivation to keep on going.
Just reading all the comments you guys have written in the last few days has certainly made the all effort we put into the site well worth it. I'm just glad to have been of such great service to you all thoughout these few short years. It's not going to be easy to follow up what we have done to this point but hopefully we can continue to do what we can for the manga community.
Also I must thank all the awesome scanlator's out there who've allowed us to host and share their work with people all over the world. Thanks to all your hard work and dedication I'm sure countless people have been introduced to many new series and favorites they might not have had the chance to come across (myself included; I now eagerly await new Urasawa Naoki works, new weekly Bakuman and still hope Nana returns hehe). Of course OneManga wouldn't be around if it weren't for all you guys. So I wish you all the best of luck going forward and many thanks again!
And lastly, please do keep supporting the publishers and mangakas when you get the chance. I know it's tough to get manga in some regions but the publishers seem to want to make some new strides so hopefully manga will be more available globally in the future. I'll certainly keep on buying manga when I can, so let's all do our part and support the manga we all love!
Which also bring me to the point, that some people want donate money to us but as we've always been saying, if you have some money to spare please save it and see if you can buy manga with it instead =D
Anyhow, even though things will be different we'll still be around. So this is a new beginning and I hope you will all continue to stay with us as we try out new things.
