sicuramente saranno un call of duty (il fall 2011 penso sia il prossimo cod) e uno degli altri 2 sarà il porting migliorato di GEIST che hanno detto di voler fare, l'altro invece che può mai essere...

Here’s Yuji Horii’s response when asked if he is worried about leaving consoles behind due to the focus on Dragon Quest for handhelds recently…

“No, the series got its start on consoles, so we aren’t thinking that way, especially since we’re working on Wii versions of Dragon Quest right now.”

That’s an interesting statement, don’t you think? Obviously Dragon Quest X is still in development. Are there other games in the series coming to the console as well? Or was this just a translation error?

oltre a dragon quest X c'e n'è un altro per wii?! :lode::lode:

e un'altra bomba a megatoni!

“We’ll let Nintendo announce their hardware,” THQ president tells investors.

THQ has hinted that Nintendo is preparing to announce a successor to the Wii.

Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference yesterday – reported by CVG – THQ president Brian Farrell said that the firm did not expect new hardware announcements “any time soon from Microsoft or Sony.”

However, he added: “It’s difficult on Nintendo – we’ll let them announce their new hardware.”

Farrell was responding to a shareholder who asked when THQ expected new hardware announcements, as when a console is revealed it tends to drive up a publisher’s share price. “Although it’s great having games,” said the investor, “I’m here to make money on the stock.”

“We’re here for the same reason,” Farrell replied. “It used to be that investors would play the console cycles – a new console would mean a period of hyper growth in the industry.

“Now that game costs have gone up so much, these cycles have gotten longer, so it's harder to understand how to play the console cycle,” he added. "We don't expect new hardware any time soon from either Microsoft or Sony. It's difficult on Nintendo - we'll let them announce their new hardware.”

“What we like about now is we've put most of our capital behind the 360 and PS3 for the next couple of years and that's where we think the action's going to be.”

While a successor to the Wii, which was released in 2006, has been rumoured for some time, Nintendo has remained tight-lipped on the matter. But with sales starting to slow - and the firm releasing 3DS worldwide in the next few weeks - the prospect of an announcement this year doesn’t seem too outlandish.
